Hartley Home Care support all new employees with all the training that they need to have before proceeding with   comprehensive shadow shifts, to allow you to feel confident within your role.

 We provide extensive training including the care certificate. which we can help you through. We will also support you with further   training to gain QCF qualifications up to level 5, depending on your role.

 We will regularly support all our staff individually with additional training opportunities which will be made available. This will   offer all our staff opportunities to develop there careers within the health care profession.

Induction:

We will discuss your role as "Health Care Assistant": 

  1. Complete paperwork
  2. Rota availability (healthy work/life balance)
  3. Discuss policies and procedures
  4. Give you an in-depth overview of the company
  5. Enhanced DBS check
  6. Application forms
  7. 2 reference
  8. Training and induction paperwork have be filled out and checked before arranging shadow shifts.
  9. Shadow shifts are carried out with a fully qualified experienced Health care assistant. During your shadowing shifts you will learn that no 2 customers are the same, learning new elements of the job each day. shadow shifts also allow our customers to meet the new members of the team
